Can you believe Christmas is only 4 weeks away?

Every year, I am looking for something new, something unique as Christmas gifts for my family and friends. This year, it's the Ferrero Boutique.

In a world first for Ferrero the online boutique will provide a range of premium gift solutions just in time for Christmas. The site is filled with plenty of thoughtfully packaged gift boxes that are perfect for pampering your loved ones or for the ultimate self indulgence.

For a limited period of time, celebrity chef Tobie Puttock has collaborated with Ferrero to create this 'Ferrero ourmet Christmas Hamper by Tobie Puttock' for food lovers. This hamper includes two imported Italian Christmas delicacies from the birthplace of Ferrero, Alba in Italy: Ferrero Panettone and Ferrero Torrone, which will be imported exclusively for inclusion in the hampers. To compliment these two imported delicacies, will be the new limited edition Ferrero Rocher gold tin gift box and a box of Tobie's favourite dark chocolate pralines, Ferrero Rondnoir.

Only 500 of the limited edition Ferrero Gourmet Christmas Hampers by Tobie Puttock will be available from Ferrero’s online boutique, and $5 from each hamper will be donated to OzHarvest, which exists to rescue excess food which would otherwise be discarded, and distribute it to charities supporting the vulnerable in Australia.

I am one lucky receiver of the limited edition Ferrero Panettone. When it arrived at my door step, I couldn't stop squealing for joy when looking at the beautiful packaging and the ginormous size of the Ferrero Panettone. It is packed full of wonderful dried fruits and the soft and spongy texture makes it a wonderful centerpiece to be served during any Christmas meal. As quoted by Tobie, "The Ferrero Panettone is renowned as being the best Panettone to cook with amongst chefs around the world”.

And of course for Christmas, you should add a little special touch to it. For this, Tobie Puttock has provided a recipe of Caramelised Panettone with Grilled Peach from his latest cookbook - "How To Cook Like An Italian". I for one certainly couldn't wait until Christmas to try out Tobie's recipe for the Ferrero Panettone that I received. The toffee crusted Panettone toast works perfectly well with the grilled peach, first soaked in the Italian dessert wine vin santo and then baked in the oven. The creme freche is the perfect finishing touch.

If you are looking for something special this Christmas, look no further. The Ferrero Boutique may be your answer and the Grilled Peach with Caramelised Panettone recipe can be found exclusively at http://www.ferreroboutique.com.au/ and it can be downloaded from this page here.

I am giving away Ferrero Rocher gift boxes to 2 (two) of my lucky readers. Each individual prize is 5 boxes of Ferrero Rocher's valued at RRP $49.95.

All you have to do is to leave a comment and answer this question: What is your favourite item found on Ferrero Boutique?

The competition closes on 5:00 pm AEDST on Tuesday 14th December 2010. Full terms and conditions can be viewed HERE.

The dessert looks amazing and the fact that I get farm fresh peaches from a friend's farm means it's a must for my Christmas day menu. Then with coffee we could indulge with the chocolates from the Ferrero Rocher Christmas Centrepiece.

Absolutely, Ferraro Rocher is a must-have gift for Christmas. Every time I receive or present Ferraro Rocher, I found there're often smiles and satisfactions evolving around. I'd love to go for the Gourment Christmas, that has got everything I love inside, that enlightens up the festive mood.

I have fond and cute memories of the original FR. My sister and I were not allowed to have chocolates back then but both of us knew that there was this box of FR in the fridge. We would nicked them. Once my mom caught my sister red-handed. :P

Dreadful for a child but looking back, it is a very cute incident.

MMmmmmmmm Grande Impressione chest box I love the blue and gold theme for it.

The Experimental Chef said...

Oh. That WOULD have been smart of me to read the terms and conditions first. Never mind lol I don't live in Australia. I still like the chest though!

Is Toby himself on the site, if so he win's hands down!

On a more realistic note, the centrepiece is my favourite. It reminds me of my attempt at Adriano Zumbo's croquembouche. In hind site, maybe I should have just purhcased the Ferrero version!

I love FERRERO GOURMENT CHRISTMAS HAMPER. Christmas is always the best time of the year, it is time for giving, caring and sharing. This hamper will be perfect to share with the loved ones and friends on the Christmas Day. Ferrero Panettone & Torrone will definitely make the Christmas very special.

I love that we can choose a wrapping style. The gold one is very pretty. It will really suit my Christmas theme of this year "GOLD CHRISTMAS"

I like the Christmas Celebration box, it's got that cute little ornament tucked in there. But that Panettone looks divine, especially after that yummy recipe!!

Anna said...

I love the centerpiece too! The only problem is that I'd have to eat one of those 120 pralines every time I passed by... it wouldn't last for long :)

Ferrero Panettone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heading right over to the site ;0)

The Christmas Tree Centerpiece...absolutely stunning!

Oh my goodness we are so lucky! What a beautiful present. My favorite item on the boutique was actually one part of one of the beautiful boxes. It was the Torrone (nougat) so humble but such beautiful packaging and design and SUCH a delicious flavor from such simple and modest ingredients. So beautiful. Thanks for the opportunity!

Bertha said...

My eyes lit up when I saw this, I love all things Ferrero, heck I even made a cake trying to create the same taste and texture. I would love love the Christmas hamper, oh how excited I am looking at Ferrero :D

Melissa (The Sword in the Scone) said...

I normally don't like panettone. Probably because I don't like dried fruit too much. My family on the other hand loves it. The picture makes it look tasty though.

My favorite item is the Christmas Tree Centerpiece.

Taryn said...

Ooo these look so amazing!

The Panettone would be my pick of the bunch. Love Christmas for its delicious treats!

suiling_kwong said...

Even though the christmas centerpiece looks tempting (i mean 120 pieces of Ferrero Rocher...who can go wrong with that??!) I think I'm going with the Little Joe Women by Gail Elliot for Ferrero Rocher gift box... it's got the best of both worlds.. Fashion AND chocolate <3! loves it!!

Elaine M said...

Oh well, I have to agree on the Christmas tree centerpiece. Magnificent. Love Ferraro chocolates.

Wish I lived in Australia! I had no idea Ferrero made things other than truffles and Nutella. How silly of me. The bread and the treat you made with it look fabulous!

susan said...

That looks delicious. I have never tried Panettone before.

The tree centrepiece would definitely be my favourite. Although I don't know how if all the chocolates on it would last until Christmas day!
