Cadbury's Bar of Plenty + Giveaway: Win AU$50 Worth of Cadbury Chocolate

This post is sponsored by Nuffnang and Cadbury

** This giveaway is now closed and the winner has been announced. Please read this POST for details. **

For a change, this post is not about a recipe - but of course it is still about delicious food! Why don't you sit back and relax, be Charlie for a moment, and I will take you through a visual chocolate tour - Willy Wonka style.

I don't cook or bake everyday. There are days that I just laze around, read a book, have a coffee and something sweet to go with it. On days like these, my indulgence often is to reach for a bar of chocolate. Curious as I am, I am always on the look out for new flavours and recently I found some amazing ones.

So today I am introducing you to two new flavours of great Cadbury chocolate. Cadbury's new Bar of Plenty combines interesting combinations of naturally delicious ingredients, all covered in smooth and creamy Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate.

Bar of Plenty is available in two different flavours:

1. Summer Berries and Crunchy Vanilla Shortcake

Imagine the crumbly buttery vanilla shortcake, the deliciously fresh summer berries and smooth & creamy Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate all in a bar:

2. Oven Roasted Hazelnut and Cashews gently flavoured with Honey.

Why choose when you can have them all in one bar?

And you don't have to travel far to get these bars. You can find them when you do you daily groceries at your local Coles, Woollies or IGA (and some other selected outlets).

Take a break. Have a cuppa. Have a Bar of Plenty. Let me know what you think.

Thanks to the lovely people at Nuffnang, I am giving away Cadbury chocolate to a value of AU$50.00.

Why am I in love with chocolate?

I am born to love it.

It is akin to tasting love/life itself. The first time you have it, it is bitter. Then it gradually becomes sweet but even so, there will be the bitter aftertaste, reminding you that life is not all sweet, yet not completely bitter.

Life/Love has its happy and sad moments. Chocolate captures it perfectly.

It enhances any mood, happy? chocolate makes you happier, sad? chocolate makes you happier? content? chocolate makes you happier.

Beautiful pictures! And great competition.

As for my answer, why am I in love with chocolate:

I love the velvety texture of chocolate; it reminds me that I'm eating something truly special and delicious! And I love Cadbury in particular because it combines my love of chocolate with other flavourful combinations.

What a great post - such lovely pictures; they really give a great sense of the chocolate.
I'm in love with chocolate because it is always there for me in times of need, never minds when I'm got my old pyjamas on and haven't brushed my hair, knows what I need when I don't feel like talking, and makes everything all better again. (Of course, my husband does those things too - so perhaps if I had some chocolate, I might share it with him!).

I love chocolate because they make the world shine and sparkle with a million dancing stars whenever I eat them. Nothing is wrong in the world and everything is sinfully good.

I also love trying all the different varieties of chocolate and theres so many out there! I've lived in Australia my whole life, and grew up with Cadbury. I love how chocolate can make people happier, its creamy, smooth texture and its depth of flavour. How its addictive, which might not be a good thing, but no matter how much you eat and might regret later..it's a lesson you'll never learn...well I don't! I'll eat just as much, if not more the next time!

I try not to take for granted the ability to enjoy chocolate. I have a few friends who have allergies. I am fasinated, impressed and in awe of everyone who is forced to restrict their diet and 'miss out' on so many foods, like chocolate, that I eat on a daily basis.

And by the way, great photos and composition.

Because it is decadent, sinful, good for you and bad for you at the same time, rich, versatile, and will always be there for you wherever and however you want it ... and men don't always fall into any or all of those categories.

Why am I in love with chocolate? Isn't it:
the best nutrition source in those days burning mid-night oil;
the best tranquilizer when you are sad;
the best party food to share with your friends;
the best gift to show your affection to your loved ones; and above all, the best choice for pampering yourself, just enjoy it anytime, anywhere?!

I'm in love with chocolate because unlike most men, it's always sweet, smooth and never fails to give me pleasure :P

Capella said...

I love chocolate because I can't have it- it gives me crippling migraines. I went through phases of ignoring the consequences of eating chocolate, trying to find substitutes for chocolate, and just flat ignoring it, all of which have culminated in me learning to take vicarious enjoyment through other people's pleasure at eating chocolate. When I bake something with chocolate in it, I enjoy seeing people's faces slowly relax into an expression of calm ecstasy as the first bite rolls across their tongue- it's enough for me to remember that taste on my own tongue.

What's more, on very rare occasions when I already have a migraine that won't shift, I allow myself a small amount of chocolate, seeing as I am already struck down and medicated. The migraine and medicine treating it combine to heighten my sensory experiences; this, paired with the rarity of my chocolate consumption, makes the consumption of that small morsel into a long, gloriously drawn-out experience. The sensation rolls across my tongue, fills the back of my mouth and then rushes through me- I can feel it down through my fingers and along my spine.

This. This is enough to remind me for all the other times that I have to turn it away.

Hi Ellie,
I love your heart dishes, so cute!
That picture with the dripping chocolate of the heart dish is a-maze-ing.

I love chocolate because you can do so many things with it-flavor, shape, texture....

Melissa said...

Chocolate is sensual, indulgent and faithful. It teases the senses, melts on the tongue and generates a feeling of happiness, literally. Chocolate can match my every mood, dark and rich, smooth and creamy, sweet and savory. It is always there for me when I need it and my chocolate will never belong to another, once I've eaten it. This is why I am in love with chocolate.

I am in love with chocolate, I am a woman...therefore I HAVE to love it. AND it is yummy.

I'm in love with chocolate because it makes me happy and nothing can beat happiness

this is me without you said...

I love chocolate because of the texture. I love the way it melts in your mouth when eating it at room temperature. I love the way it snaps after leaving it in the fridge or freezer. I love how it is so versatile and so many things can be made with it. I love how you can say it is 'healthy', when making a chocolate fondue and dipping fresh fruit in the chocolate.
