Win 1 of 5 Double Passes to the Vintage Cellars International Wine Fair 2010 (Sat 27-Sun 28 March)

One of my many dreams is to go globe trotting and taste the wines and the food from all over the world. Of course, this is not possible in reality due to family commitments. So, what is then more fantastic than tasting the wines of the world in your own backyard?

The Vintage Cellars International Wine Fair 2010 will be held in Sydney next weekend (Sat 27-Sun 28 March). It is the greatest gathering of international winemakers seen in Australia, which allows you to try wines from iconic Australian producers and also to discover a great selection of new and exciting wines from around the world. You will also get to try varieties and styles you have probably never heard of and get to meet the producers behind the wines, who are there to talk about the passion that goes into each bottle.

Set to be the wine event of the year, with winemakers proudly showcasing their wines from France, Italy, Spain, South America, New Zealand and Australia, this is your opportunity to taste some of the best the world has to offer. Among the highlights are:-

Kooyong (Mornington Peninsula)
Clonakilla (Canberra)
Giaconda (Beechworth)
Shaw+Smith (Adelaide Hills)
Champy (Burgundy)
Saint Cosme (Cotes du Rhone)
Norton (Argentina)
Ruffino (Italy)

Thanks to the lovely people at Nuffnang and Vintage Cellars, I am giving away 5 x double passes worth $50 per double pass to this fabulous event.

• Hundreds of wines on tasting
• Winemakers from around the world
• A range of daily master classes
• Special offers on wine ordered at the fair

There's only one way to enjoy wine Ellie - that's with great food and in the company of loved ones!

Imagine this: Autumn, lavosh crackers, camembert & quince paste. The sunset as your backdrop, your beloved by your side, & a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Any night of the week, a large order of loved ones with a side of some amazing comfort food minus pleasantries and politics!

Anytime, any place, with my husband.

As I am often home alone at the end of the day, opening a bottle of wine is 'my time', peace, quite, time to reflect.

A sauvignon blanc with the man of my dreams in a secluded beach watching the sunset. Man of my dreams = Gerald Butler or Jake Gylenhaal or maybe Howie D from the Backstreet Boys. Eheheh

A chilled bottle of Hunter Valley Semillon on a hot Summer evening in my garden with family and friends.
