Cantaloupe (Rockmelon) Frozen Yogurt

I love Cantaloupe (it's called Rockmelon in Australia) and I love Greek Yogurt. So, why not make a Cantaloupe Frozen Yogurt?

Cantaloupe (Rockmelon) Frozen Yogurt Recipe

Ingredients

200 g cantaloupe (rockmelon)
100 g caster sugar
200 ml Greek yogurt

Method:
  1. Puree the cantaloupe.
  2. Add the sugar and yogurt and mix together.
  3. Churn in an ice cream machine according to manufacturer's instructions.
Sometimes, simple is best!

Great idea! Rockmelon is easy to find now and Greek yogurt is divine so I can definitely imagine how creamy and refreshing this would be!

I love the Greek yogurt you get in Australia, it's harder to find here and not as good. I'm a big fan of blueberry fro yo, I'll have to try it with melon.

Mmmm, this looks delicious! I have made cantaloupe sorbet but never frozen yogurt. I may have to try it next!

What a great idea. Yours is the first frozen treat I've seen made with cantaloupe. I'm going to have to give it a try.

Yum! I need to make more frozen yogurts - there are so many flavors that work wonderfully with yogurt!

@ Lorraine: yes, indeed.

@ Brilynn: The cantaloupe here in Australia is very sweet and Greek yogurt is extremely creamy. Hence, great combination.

@ Dimah: YES!

@ Sara: Try it. It's good.

@ Jackie: Thanks!

@ oneordinaryday: Thanks. It's delicious.

@ Ivy: quilt free frozen dessert ;-)

Cantaloupe frozen yogurt would be even more cool and refreshing than the cantaloupe itself!

Cantaloupe is one of my favorite fruits, and this looks so easy! I just made my first frozen yogurt the other day and I've been looking for my next recipe to try!
